Committed to our Community

The Bay Cove Behavioral Health & Wellness Center is the primary provider for urgent behavioral health crisis care across Cape Cod, from Bourne to Provincetown and every community in between. Contracted through the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership, it is our mission to ensure that residents of Cape Cod have access to the highest quality behavioral health care, and that they are able to receive that care—whenever possible—here on Cape Cod, either through our program or via our professional partnerships with other area behavioral health providers.

The commitment of our program is to serve our Cape Cod neighbors in the community—offering our services in every town, and delivering them wherever a person may be. Our mobile crisis teams are able to respond to individuals in need in their homes, their workplaces or schools, or safe community spaces, as well as in our Hyannis program location. Our clinicians are based on the Cape, and are prepared to respond quickly to calls from the community.

Community Training

At The Bay Cove Behavioral Health & Wellness Center, we know that being part of a community means looking out for your neighbor. However, also know that when someone in our community is struggling with a mental health, substance use, or other behavioral health challenge, many neighbors don’t have the training or firsthand experience to know how to help.

Our team makes it an organizational priority to perform outreach throughout Cape Cod. We work with local police officers, schoolteachers and administrators, senior and community centers, and other organizations to offer in-person presentations on how to know if someone might need help, how to reach out if help is needed, and what to do to safely help neighbors needing assistance until trained professionals can arrive on the scene.

Our clinicians also regularly do “ride-alongs” with law enforcement when they conduct wellness checks on community members with mental health challenges. We work closely with police departments in towns all across Cape Cod, including Falmouth, Mashpee, Barnstable, Dennis, Sandwich and many others. During these ride-alongs, our clinicians teach and model the best way to approach individuals with active mental health challenges.

If you represent a community organization, place of business, or police department on Cape Cod, and would like to speak with us about arranging a training presentation, please contact Rebecca Stanley at 833-229-2683.

Our Community Partners

Bay Cove is fortunate to be part of a community of human services providers here in the region. Together with these organizations, we are partners in a continuum of care that can provide specialized treatment options for men, women and children dealing with a wide range of behavioral health and substance use challenges.

We are pleased to refer to (and receive referrals from) the following organizations:
